President Obama does not “accept responsibility” for high gas prices, his spokesman indicated today, arguing that Obama has done everything he could to bring down the price of oil and blaming the high gas prices on oil price increases caused by global factors.
“The president accepts the responsibility that he identified the next president should accept, which is the need for comprehensive energy policy,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said today when asked if Obama “accept[s] responsibility” for the high price of oil and gas. “If you’re suggesting that there is responsibility for a rise in the price of oil, it’s certainly not because of anything he hasn’t done to expand oil production,” Carney added.
President Obama was elected when gas prices was around $1.84; it is now well over $5.00 a gallon. All of the gas prices can be traced to Obama's EPA regulations, the Iran instability, the weaker Dollar, & Obama's own Gulf Oil Moratorium. However, when things are bad, Obama naturally deflects blame. He's never responsible.

Oliver Stone's Son Plays Victim Card after he Converts to Islam

Sean Stone, son of controversial director Oliver Stone, converted to Islam in Iran last week and says he’s already experiencing a Hollywood backlash.
The ceremony was held in Isfahan, where he is researching a documentary. He now goes by the name of Sean Christopher Ali Stone.
He told Page Six: “I’ve already experienced the reverse of anti-Semitism, having people within the film industry express a reluctance to work with me now that I have said a simple prayer, ‘There is no God but God, and Mohammed is his messenger.’ I am sure I have [bleeped] off some powerful people.” Speaking over dinner at Barrio 47, Sean told us, “Having read the Koran and having been around the Islamic culture, especially in Iran, I do believe that Mohammed is a prophet of the same god worshipped by other religions.
He said his dad welcomed the move.
“My dad said, ‘Allah be with you.’ My father understands that I am trying to bridge certain gaps and bring about peace.”
But he has been shocked by the reaction from others. Sean, about to release his horror movie “Graystone,” said, “I didn’t realize I would be so vilified. It is almost like I am a criminal for having accepted Islam. I didn’t realize Islamophobia was that deep. People have speculated that I have done this because I am from a spoiled family or that I am lost and trying to find myself. That is ridiculous.
We are dealing with Islamic terrorists who kill in the name Allah; therefore, Sean Stone--who lives in a bubble like his Marxist father--did not see the obvious backlash when he converted to Islam. Sean Stone is more the fool.
He claims to have converted to produce a documentary on Islam.
Until he reverts back to previous faith, Hollywood is going to treat him, ironically, as an outcast, although they will be secretly rooting for him.

McCain Supports Obama's Taliban talks

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said on Sunday that he supports talks between the U.S. and the Taliban, a position that may be out of step with Mitt Romney, whom he endorsed in the presidential contest, according to ABC.
“I think it’s important to have talks wherever you can,” said McCain, who was speaking from Afghanistan, in an interview with ABC’s This Week. “We have to have an outcome on the battlefield…that would motivate a successful conclusion.”
Romney said in a recent presidential debate that the “right course” was not to negotiate with the Taliban, ABC reported. McCain said he has not discussed the issue with Romney.
He went on to say that tenor if this year’s presidential race may be hurting Republicans and helping President Obama, ABC reported.
Talking with the Taliban is the road to nowhere; it makes us look weak. This is just another reason McCain needs to retire so he can be the boob he is without destroying our country with his stupid backstabbing knives for Conservatives while he is eager to get the approval of the Marxist Democrats.
This is why McCain was all wrong to run for POTUS in 2008.

During a press conference in Paris, The Boss explained that much of the inspiration for his new album, set for release on March 6th, is anger at what he sees as the crushing of the American Dream in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis.
“I have friends who lost everything they had,” Springsteen explained, according to the Dagens Nyhter (DN) newspaper.
In 2009, he put pen to paper began writing the album’s lead track “We take care of our own”.
“In this song, I pose a number of questions. Questions which I later try to find answers to in other songs,” said Springsteen.
The 62-year-old rocker claimed the 2008 financial crisis was the result of decades of deregulation that spawned an ethic of unbridled greed.
“We’ve destroyed the idea of an equal playing field,” he said, according to the AFP news agency.
When asked if he thought the United States should be changed into something closer to a Swedish-style welfare state, Springsteen responded enthusiastically.
“Exactly! That’s my dream! It’s written between the lines. But you have to listen very closely,” he said, according to DN.
Bruce Springsteen said it's his desire to see the United States of America become a Swedish-style welfare state. Actually, Sweden works because they have a relatively small population; whereas, America's population is so diverse & keeps expanding that iany welfare would bankrupt the country. But that's why Springsteen is a musician & not a politician.

As policy pursuits go, none has had more consequence for the Obama administration than the stimulus: Not only did the American Recovery Act determine the size and scope of the economic mending, it established the ideological battle lines across which many of the subsequent legislative battles were waged inside the White House.
There has been no shortage of literature to dissect how President Obama handled the stimulus debate. But a new book by Noam Scheiber of The New Republic, “The Escape Artists,” sheds new light on the matter.
As Scheiber writes, members of the president’s economic team felt that if they were to properly fill the hole caused by the recession, they would need a bill that priced at $1.8 trillion — $600 billion more than was previously believed to be the high-water mark for the White House.
The $1.8 trillion figure was included in a December 2008 memo authored by Christina Romer (the incoming head of the Council of Economic Advisers) and obtained by Scheiber in the course of researching his book.
“When Romer showed [Larry] Summers her $1.8 trillion figure late in the week before the memo was due, he dismissed it as impractical. So Romer spent the next few days coming up with a reasonable compromise: roughly $1.2 trillion,” Scheiber writes.
As has now become the stuff of Obama administration lore, when the final document was ultimately laid out for the president, even the $1.2 trillion figure wasn’t included. Summers thought it was still politically impractical. Moreover, if Obama had proposed $1.2 trillion but only obtained $800 billion, it would have been categorized as a failure.
Larry Summers stopped the $1.8 trillion for fear of a political backlash, yet he couldn't see the $800 billion as reasonable? No wonder he didn't last very long. Note, Obama is not campaigning on his Porkulus for 2012.

Announcing his budget plans for fiscal year 2013 in an address at Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Va., President Barack Obama characterized the current income tax rates — signed into law by President Bush a decade ago — as a form of government spending.
Essentially, the president said that the federal government “spends” when it does not raise taxes.
“Right now, we’re scheduled to spend more than $1 trillion more on what was intended to be a temporary tax cut for the wealthiest two percent of Americans,” Obama said. “We’ve already spent about that much. Now we’re expected to spend another $1 trillion. Keep in mind, a quarter of all millionaires pay lower tax rates than millions of middle class households. You’ve heard me say it: Warren Buffett pays a lower tax rate than his secretary.”
Despite the bankruptcies of three green energy companies that received heavy doses of federal tax dollars, Obama also pledged Monday to “double down on clean energy.”
Only in ObamaLand does the opposite mean the truth. The bottom line is Obama wants massive wealth redistribution for his Marxist projects; in other words, he views the private sector market--which has shrunk under Obama--as his own ATM machine. It's obscene.

Medical insurance premiums in the United States are on the rise, the chief architect of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul has told The Daily Caller.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology economist Jonathan Gruber, who also devised former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney’s statewide health care reforms, is backtracking on an analysis he provided the White House in support of the 2010 Affordable Care Act, informing officials in three states that the price of insurance premiums will dramatically increase under the reforms.
In an email to The Daily Caller, Gruber framed this new reality in terms of the same human self-interest that some conservatives had warned in 2010 would ultimately rule the marketplace.
“The market was so discriminatory,” Gruber told TheDC, “that only the healthy bought non-group insurance and the sick just stayed [uninsured].”
“It is true that even after tax credits some individuals are ‘losers,’” he conceded, “in that they pay more than before [Obama's] reform.”
ObamaCare, by design, is to put private health care companies out of business so their clients will be placed on the ObamaCare system; it's all by design to go to single payer--just like Canada & Europe.
In other words, Obama lied, but I knew that already. So did most of the other people who opposed ObamaCare. It's why ObamaCare remains radioactive to this day.

First lady Michelle Obama said Thursday that poor nutrition in the military was a “national security issue,” and praised the armed forces for taking steps to bring healthier options onto bases.
“Our military leaders know that this is not just a diet issue; it’s not just a health issue. This is truly a national security issue,” Obama said. “According to a recent Army study, more than a quarter of our nation’s 17- to 24-year-olds are too overweight to serve in our armed forces today. And even those who make the cut often struggle in basic training.”
Obama was in Little Rock, Ark. to announce a new healthy food initiative within the Department of Defense that will bring more whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat options to 1,000 military dining facilities, affecting nearly 1.5 million troops.
“That means more DoD installations will offer the kind of fresh, healthy food that the Air Force’s Food Transformation Initiative helped bring here to Little Rock,” Obama said, referring to a pilot program launched at the Little Rock Air Force Base.
No, poor nutrition is not a national security issue, but it is a way to gain more control over everything else.

Iran is sending a US drone it captured in December home – with a small makeover.
Mocking requests to return the drone, a local toy companyplans to send a miniature pink model of the RQ-170 Sentinel to US President Barack Obama.
Seyyed Saeed Hassan-pour, head of the cultural department of the Aaye Company, which is making the toy , says, “We wanted for Mr. Obama himself to have these toys and know that Iranians don’t leave anyone’s requests unanswered. We made the ‘RQ’ in pink as it is Mr. Obama’s favourite colour and we will send it to him via the Swiss embassy.”
State TV broadcast footage of the drone draped in anti-American banners after it was captured last month near the Afghan border.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry complained to the UN Security Council about the spy mission and told the US to apologize.
“We decided to show that we can deal with this issue in a very friendly and peaceful manner and put it in the playful hands of the children of Iran to pursue a ‘soft war’ with Mr. Obama and the US. This was the aim of producing this aircraft.”
The toy models will hit the market this week and go for 70,000 rials or $4 each.
Supplication & apologies gets one nowhere as in the case of President Obama; Iran is mocking President Obama with this pink toy of the captured drone--emasculating him & the United States. I'm sure Obama will send a thank you letter for the response.
